Season two trailer offers 1st look at ShogunWorld [Watch]

The mysteries and secrets continue in the second season of "Westworld." Watch trailer for season 2.

It’s almost time for the second season of "Westworld" and HBO has released a new trailer for the new season.

Set to a cover of Nirvana’s “Heart-Shaped Box,”  the new trailer teases the introduction of Westworld’s adjacent park, ShogunWorld.

Bernard is also seen struggling to cope with what he is. He hangs out with the humans in Westworld, who probably still believe that he is human instead of one of the hosts.

The trailer ends with Dolores smiling at Bernard as she asks: “Why on earth would you ever be frightened of me?”

About Westworld

Westworld isn't your typical amusement park. Intended for rich vacationers, the futuristic park -- which is looked after by robotic "hosts" -- allows its visitors to live out their fantasies through artificial consciousness.

No matter how illicit the fantasy may be, there are no consequences for the park's guests, allowing for any wish to be indulged.

Based on the 1973 Michael Crichton movie of the same name, "Westworld" features an ensemble cast that includes Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins and Golden Globe winner Ed Harris.

It also stars Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, Luke Hemsworth and Clifton Collins, Jr.

Co-created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the series which aired its first episode in 2016, will return for a second season on April 22.
