Netflix just announced the second season premiere date for its original series

The dramawhich focuses on the hunt for notorious cocaine kingpin Pablo Escobar, will premiere all 10 episodes on September 2 exclusively on Netflix.

Set and filmed in Colombia, the series tells the story of notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar, who became a billionaire through the production and distribution of cocaine. It also focuses on Escobar's interactions with drug lords, DEA agents, and various opposition entities.

The first trailer for show was released after the prison escape of El Chapo, who is considered the Pablo Escobar of this generation.

Created by Chris Brancato, Eric Newman, and Carlo Bernard, the show stars Wagner Moura as Pablo Escobar, Boyd Holbrook, and Pedro Pascal.

The complete 10-episode of the first season was released on Netflix on August 28, 2015.
