The event which will be held at the Kingsmead Stadium in Durban on July 16, 2016 is organised to celebrate and help accelerate the fight against HIV/AIDS.

This will be the first visit of Queen Latifah to Africa, she would be sharing the stage with US rap star Common, South African stars such as Mi Casa and Big Nuz, and a host of dignitaries.

“I am excited to be part of the Keep The Promise Concert in Durban, South Africa. It’s my first time in South Africa and it feels good to be going for such a great cause.” she said.
