In a shocking announcement on Monday, May 9, the Hollywood couple said they welcomed their second daughter last month.

According to the birth certificate obtained by TMZ,  Mendes had her baby girl named Amada Lee Gosling at Providence St. John's Health Center in Santa Monica, California, at 8:03 a.m. on April 29.

Mendes' second pregnancy news only made headlines in April when Us Weekly broke the news that she was expecting her second child with the 'Big Short' actor.

The 'Hitch' star was spotted  back in February hiding a baby bump at a photo shoot. The 42-year-old actress was also seen two months later covering her belly with an oversized bag while making her way into St. John’s for a doctor’s appointment.

A source tells the site that  Gosling rented an entire theatre  in Hollywood to celebrate Mother's Day with their family and friends

"Ryan carried Esmeralda in and out of the theater in his arms. She had on overalls and her hair in pigtails,"  the onlooker told Us Weekly.
