Singer shares lovely throwback photo with mum, marking her birthday

Today marked a new year for singer, Chris Brown's mum, Joyce Hawkins and he shared an epic throwback picture to mark it.

Chris Breezy wished her a happy birthday on Instagram using a throwback photo from his childhood beside another photo taken many years after.

As a child, Chris was photographed hanging on to his mum around the neck.

Chris combined this throwback photo with a more recent photo of himself and his mum as she rested on him.

The pictures seem symbolic to having someone to lean on.

Whatever differences the singer had with his mother seem to be far behind them now.
