Quizzed on who is better with the flick between both of them, Okocha insists that he taught and encouraged the Arsenal forward to do it.

“It runs in the family, I encouraged him to do it, I taught him how to do it so he should take a bow,” Okocha told at the Bloomsbury Ballroom in London where the 2017 FIFA Best awards finalists were announced.

Iwobi is heavily influenced by his famous uncle whom he watched growing up.

Speaking to the Premier League media channel back in 2016, the Nigeria international described Okocha as his mentor.

Asked who his Premier League idol was, Iwobi chose his uncle Okocha who once played and captained Bolton Wanderers.

“It definitely has to be my uncle,” the Arsenal forward said.
