These days, a lot of people, including myself, have a lot of excuses for not making for God.

We blame technology, lack of time, work, family, any and everything for our inability to make time to seek God's face.

Yet, we want Him to bless us, even though we have made no time for Him.

Today, we are encouraged to never depart from His presence.

Let us form the habit of seeking face, like Jesus did.

Whenever the Son of God needed peace, strength and simply reaffirmation of His Father's plans, he separated Himself from others, and went to God.

Mark 1:35-36 says, "And rising very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he departed and went out to a desolate place, and there he prayed.  And Simon and those who were with him searched for him."

If Jesus, the son of God, recognised the importance of seeking God's face, who are we?

Don't do it because your mum does it, or your friends do it, or your priest/pastor encourages it.

Do it because you need it, because it renews your life, because you love God, because you are nothing without His presence and guidance.

Stop making excuses and make time for God, today!

Are you making time for God?
