Kanu Nwankwo tips Arsenal for knockout stage

Former Arsenal star Nwankwo Kanu has backed his former side to go qualify for the second round of this season's Champions League.

The Gunners will tonight face Olympiacos in theirlast group gameand will need a 2-0 win or by a one-goal margin other than 2-1 to progress to the knockout stage.

Kanu who played for Arsenal between 1999 and 2004 said the quality of players Arsenal possess should give them the edge.

"We are going to qualify after tonight's game,the team knows how important the game is and we got the players to do it. Come on Arsenal," the former African Player of the Year wrote on Twitter.

Kanu played 197 games for Arsenal, scoring 44 goals.
