The Ghana Football Association, GFA have appointed former Chelsea man Avram Grant as the new head coach of the country’s senior national men football team, Black Stars

The appointment which was finally reached on Thursday had been a matter of discussion for weeks after former coach, Kwesi Appiah resigned from his duties in September.
Grant, 59 was the trainer for the Israeli national team and will now assemble the players that he needs to execute the task of"doing well at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations and winning the 2017 tournament", GFA president Kwesi Nyantakyi told reporters on Thursday
He will be assisted by Coach Maxwell Konadu, who helped Ghana qualify for the Equatorial Guinea 2015.
