James “Jim” Russell and his wife, Elinor, had always celebrated their wedding anniversaries either by travelling or dancing, regardless of what they did, they always did something.

Love clearly has no bounds as this man did not let the fact that his wife was hospitalised stop him from celebrating their fifty seventh wedding anniversary.

Unfortunately, this year, Elinor was hospitalised but this did not faze Jim, who encouraged by his family to do something extra special, showed up to his wife’s hospital room all decked out in the tuxedo, he usually danced in, carrying flowers and chocolate.
The couple went on to share a meal in her room, then watched her favorite TV shows.
Concerning the surprising sweet gesture, Elinor told ABC News; “being in a hospital bed, you get bored so when they came in, it made me smile like the younger days when we were dancing.”

Photos of the sweet moment were posted on Twitter by the couple’s granddaughter, Reid Russell, her tweet immediately went viral, racking up more than 25,000 retweets, as people worldwide celebrated the couple's enduring love.
