Twitter set to discontinue video sharing app
Representatives of the video sharing service have assured users of access to their vines after it has been discontinued.

Twitter acquired the service in the year 2012, and launched it in the following year.
It has come to a good reception among social media users.

Vine has told its users in a statement that its website will be available to users despite the impending cancellation of its service.
“We value you, your Vines, and are going to do this the right way,”
“You’ll be able to access and download your Vines. We’ll be keeping the website online because we think it’s important to still be able to watch all the incredible Vines that have been made.”
This has caused a mixed reaction from users of the video sharing service who commented on Twitter.
A Twitter user with the ID @jessbesack wrote, "Logged into Vine for the first time in years and found this very important historical moment."

Another with the username @TheMendesUpdate wrote, "Wait but i'm kinda upset about vine being shut down....thats where Shawn basically started."
