Roma loan out Nigerian youngster

Nura Abdullahhi has been described as a defender with enormous potential, but need time on the field to harness his talent.

Nura was signed by AS Roma from Italian lower division team Spezia, his parent club however decided to loan him out in search of more experience.

A message on the Club's official Twitter handle "Nura Abdullahi joins Perugia on loan" confirmed the Nigerian's departure.

Perugia posted a message via their official Twitter handle to welcome Nura to the Club.

"WELCOME NURA! The Nigerian defender class '97 arrives at the @ ACPerugiaCalcio on a two-year loan from the @ OfficialASRoma with option and counter-option"

Nura is expected to develop at Perugia, and his loan deal is for two years, with an option that allows the club make his deal permanent or return to his parent club.

He becomes the second Nigerian to be loaned out by AS Roma, after to the Eredivisie with NAC Breda.
