The notion that there is a perfect person somewhere for everyone is what drives many people in relationships.
People entertain the idea and pursue the goal of finding ’the one’ because, apparently, once you do, life feels perfect, the joy of being in a relationship/marriage just flows naturally and all is rosy and resplendent.
But, really, how true is this idea? What if there isn't a particular truth to it and it's just another wild goose chase, fuelled by movies and romance novels?

Is there really someone out there, or maybe there are actually more than one soulmate for one person?
And all the great things they say about being in a relationship with that person, how true are they?
How do you even recognize him or her, and what then happens if things somehow don’t work out with them, or if they die?
