Readers say a state of emergency is needed to solve Nigeria's housing issues

The Estate, Rent and Commission Agents Association(ERCAAN) is demanding for a state of emergency in Nigeria's housing sector.

According to the ERCAAN president, Mr. Emmanuel Dare, this is needed in order to solve Nigeria's housing deficient.

“Every government in the world takes housing seriously. In our country, the state of infrastructure is degrading and the crisis in the North-East, among others, has placed pressure on housing needs. We call on the Federal Government to declare a state of emergency in the housing sector, especially in the North-East, and set up housing initiatives in all states of the federation.”

Readers were asked if they agreed with this.
