Minister complains over ongoing housing project

The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Pastor Uguru Usani Uguru, is tired of a housing project that is taking too long to be completed.

The Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Pastor Uguru Usani Uguru, is tired of a housing project that is taking too long to be completed.

During a recent inspection, he revealed that the project has been ongoing for five years without a completion date in sight.

"The contract was awarded almost five years ago and we are just tired of all these ongoing projects that have been ongoing almost at indeterminate period of time. We have resolved that these projects will not continue to be at the state of ongoing again.’’

Uguru promised to do a critical evaluation of the project.

This ongoing housing project is at Egba community in Edo state, it has 40 units of bungalows, drainage, asphalted internal roads, water supply and security fence.
