10 best dressed celebrities of the year

These ones spared no cost getting glammed and dolled up on the red carpet and even when spotted at major events or just plain showing off killer looks for the 'gram.

Some turned heads too in daring looks while some had their looks going viral, some launched the careers of some Nigerian brands/fashion designers, bringing them to limelight.

These ones constantly pushed the style buttons with some channelling their inner divas in unique designer goods think new season Gucci, LV, Stella McCartney, Self Portrait, Gert Johan Coetzee and more.

In no particular order, these celebrities killed it one look after another this year

1. Tiwa Savage

Tiwa Savage stood out in power looks this year. The singer also fired up her performances with custom fringe pieces from top designers going all out in bold looks when she has to.

She also did major laidback looks in choice designer pieces showing off different looks at every point.

For 2017, she sure didn't take a backseat in the style department.

2. Toke Makinwa

Toke Makinwa loves to get dolled up and she did again through 2017. The OAP/vlogger/author turned it up a notch with choice designer pieces this year- to promote her book in South Africa sometime in the year, she had thoughtfully set out looks she rocked through the period.

One thing with this self acclaimed 'Baby Girl For Life' is her daring take on style, she can rock just about any look and swell too. She stood out at the 2017 Elite Model Look Nigeria in a yellow babydoll piece from Gert Johan Coetzee where she walked away with the best dressed for the night.

3. Inidima Okojie

Inidinma Okojie also sizzled in bold looks this season. The Nollywood actor brought it in a lot of Fablane By Derin pieces she showed off every time. She definitely knows what works for her.

4. Beverly Naya

Beverly Naya sizzled, showing off her impressively toned frame off a lot in a lot of sheer and form fitting custom pieces especially for red carpet events. She opted more for pieces from Weizdhurm Franklyn, Sisiano and Fablane By Derin this year.

5. Somkele Idhalama

Somkele Idhalama does clean, effortless and fluid pieces every time she steps out. She does understated elegance but her efforts never go unnoticed. The Nollywood actor is never usually in everyone's face but she brought it for 2017. She was a muse for Lisa Folawiyo's campaign sometime this year.

6. Mo Abudu

Mo Abudu brought bold styles to red carpet especially in 2017. The media mogul went all out in designer frocks and accessories. She has the plushest 'casual' pieces as well boasting of enviable pieces. She didn't disappoint in 2017.

7. Mimi Onalaja

Mimi Onalaja brought it in 2017. She stepped out in showstopping pieces on the red carpet and dressing her body type in flattering pieces.

Stephanie Coker had fun dressing up for 2017. The media girl who pitch her tent stylishly with Style Temple for most of the season easily did major bold looks this year even for her raved wedding. She explored cool casual as well bursting out in vibrant colours down to her kicks. Her fashion game was fired up this season.

Doing the whole 360, staying in shape, getting the glow in and staying fab, Bolanle Olukanni wasn't caught napping in the style department. Whether she's kicking it fabulous in heels on the red carpet or spotting vibrant kicks dressed down, she brought it stylish.

10. DJ Cuppy

DJ Cuppy was a delight to watch this year. The celebrity DJ knows what works for her body type and fired up those looks, one designer at a time.
