Man bathes ex-lover with acid for jilting him

A young lady is currently battling for her life after her ex-boyfriend bathed her with acid when she decided to end their relationship.

Bottle of acid

Vanguard reports that the unidentified man who is based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, had traced the lady to Yenogoa after she called off their relationship and moved there and when he located her where she stayed on Tombia Road by Edepie, he attacked her with the acid, leaving her face and parts of her body scarred.

It was gathered that Eteh and the suspect who is now in police detention, had been in a love relationship in Port Harcourt before the victim decided to quit the affair and relocate to Yenagoa.

The suspect who was said to be hurt by the decision of Eteh had reportedly vowed never to let her go or he would make sure no man gets her, then resorted to trailing her to her new location where he committed the heinous crime.

Following the alarm raised by the victim’s neighbours, residents of the area apprehended the suspect and after beating him properly, handed him to the police while the victim was rushed to the Federal Medical Centre, Yenagoa, where she is receiving treatment.
