Singer says he and Wizkid were never really friends

Skales talks about relationship with Wizkid and him being a vegetarian.

In an interview with Soundcity hosted by Moet Abebe, the Baseline record label act was asked about his relationship with the pop star.

"I am inspired by his works’’, he went further by saying  "Wizkid is a great guy, we are all doing great in our different ways".

When asked if he and Wizkid were still in talking terms, he said they have never really been friends. He said, "it has always been about business between the two of us."

During the interview, he was asked to clarify which part of Nigeria he is from. He told Moet Abebe he is actually from Edo state but grew up in Kaduna, Nigeria.

Further, into the interview, Skales revealed that he is vegetarian.

“I am a vegetarian, I don’t even know why I am adding weight, I eat late at night, I can drive late at night to search for food”.

He also revealed that he is a mummy’s boy too which he knows everyone is aware of.

In 2015, Skales and Wizkid, who were formerly signed to EME, went at it on Twitter Skales claimed Wizkid never supported his career during his time at EME.

Wizkid fired back and said Skales was looking for publicity to promote his debut album.
