Reports say the Imo state chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria had on Monday, February 9, invited governorship candidates of all registered political parties in the state for an interactive session.

Rt. Rev. Onuoha who was the chairman of the event also advised candidates not to overheat the polity, as whosoever was not lucky this time, should look forward to 2019.
“Any candidate that fails to clinch the governorship seat this time, should look forward to 2019. We can only have one governor at a time.
“We look forward to seeing a situation when other candidates will gladly congratulate the successful candidate,” Bishop Onuoha pleaded.
He appealed to the contestants to implored their supporters not to destroy other contestants’ posters and billboards, stressing that the stories flying in the state were very disturbing.
According to Vanguard, the theme of the interactive session was “Let God choose through his people, who governs Imo State”, while one of the highlights of the event was the denouncing of membership of secret cults by all the candidates present.
