Enough of following steps

With my Glasses moving down the bridge of my nose,

Education & Employment.

Eyes gazed at the floor while my mind processed another thing entirely,

With the way 15-20% of Nigerians youth are given admission and the rest to join the next

With the way 10-15% of graduate are been employed while the rest put aside there Cvs

"Make good grades and get good job" was the statement before

Now it has turn to "make good grades and engage in a vocational training"

We read not because of the passion but because of the popular notion of passing

Some don't even know why they are in school?

Probably because that's what everybody does

Some lost purpose in the cause of getting the certificate

Now tell me can we all be a Prof?? NO

But why can't we all be, since we all have what it takes (neglecting laziness)

Which made me realize that our potentials are different

Mr Follow Follow.

All we do is to follow steps. Why won't we follow? When everything about Nigeria is done by stalking on the affairs of other countries.

Following step is not bad, in fact I can boldly say that it's good. But TD Jakes said something;

"THERE MUST BE A POINT WHERE one respects, admires, and learns from others and then turns  inward to connect to his or her own authentic expression of talent"

No need of following others step all the days of your life. Les Brown said:

"Don't follow where the path may lead, follow where there is no path and leave a trail"

But i'll advise you to carry God along so that you won't take the wrong path.

We can't grow if we think the same way.

How does unity works? Different great minds with diverse kind of idea,coming together to achieve a goal.

What's the essence of team work when we all do same task instead of allocating different to task to achieve great result.

Or what's the essence of a football team when all the 11 players plays the same wing or position?

Which way ?

How would there be a turn around for good?

Take a look at life and we humans in it

Take a look at the old ones and young ones

Take a look at the pursuit of riches by the youth who have never labour but want all riches in just a twink of an eye

Tell me what the future holds for the world that is experiencing transition day by day?

When what we call fashion is nothing but balderdash

Even our so called bloggers do nothing other than gibbering. They are not keeping it real.

The atmosphere of disloyalty has imbued through everyone.

When the feet of the wicked are strong but that of the good ones wobble

Our leaders are egocentric.

God has given us all what is needed but we keep ransacking for what's not lost.

The law is meant for the poor and not the rich.

Who dares to confront them for been wrong?

Even I can only do that behind my pen and paper.

Lots of prayer have been said but no action.

I wonder if those prayers would turn to human themselves to take our steps for us.

It's time we take up actions.
