3 easy ways to stop wasting fuel!

These easy, quick tips will go a long way in reducing the amount of money you spend on fuel.

The fuel situation in Nigeria, this year, is no joke.

With the recent fuel scarcity, and the current price, N145, per litre, it is safe to say that fuel needs to be saved, not wasted.

Hence, this necessity of this article, which will help you reduce the amount of money you spend on fuel.

1. Have a plan before you leave your house, office: The current fuel situation leaves no room for idling or random movements. Preserve your fuel by knowing exactly where and how you intend to get somewhere, before you turn on the engine.

2. Reduce the amount of 'warm up' time: In the good old days, we could all afford to keep our engines running for, at least, five minutes, while we got dressed. Those days are over. Save your fuel by driving, almost as soon as you turn on your engine.

3. Only use your AC, when necessary: According to the Society of Automotive Engineers, you lose 10% of your fuel, when you drive with your AC. Imagine how much you would save by using your AC, only when you absolutely need to.
