Shilling weakens as importer dollar demand picks up
At 1128 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,345/3,355, weaker than Tuesday's close of 3,335/3,345.
Following a period of uncertainty during the February elections and its aftermath, business confidence has picked up, fuelling demand for imports and foreign exchange, traders said.
