Zlatan Ibrahimović, known for his sharp tongue, expressed his profound disappointment with Paraguay's rough play in their recent World Cup Round of 16 match against France, which the Europeans won 1-0. The South Americans committed numerous fouls and generally played a "dirty" game.

"If I had played in that match, I would have been shown four red cards, and I probably would have sent someone to…," Ibrahimović stated on Fox, likely implying he would have sent someone to the hospital.

The Swede, however, praised "Les Bleus" for not succumbing to their opponents' tactics: "The French team showed great composure. They didn't fall for the provocations and managed to handle it. The best thing you can do when provoked is to smile and not fall into the trap – exactly what the French did."
