D-Truce, Jamal Swiss, Sess, Simi, more rock the night away with fans at show
Music was certainly in the air, and the vibe was right as X3M Musicās D-Truce and Jamal Swiss held the fifth instalment of āYoung Kultureā at the Bogobiri House, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Fellow X3M Music act Simi shined so beautifully in a part-blue coloured hair and a black dress with a flawless make-up as she performed her latest love themed single āJoromiā.
The live band comprising the back-up singers, pianists, saxophonists, drummer and guitarists together with DJ Joey all gelled together nicely.
Soul singer Maka held her own well with her performance on the night.
Falzās regular producer Sess unveiled himself good as an artist performing songs, leaning towards R&B. It was interesting watching a brilliant producer bringing out the artist side of him.
Rapper Bella Alubo came through performing her single āRadioā.
3rty and Jamal Swiss performed a duet titled āLiar liarā shaming all the shameless liars. Kid Marley and 3rty also had their performance of āSunday morningā off the forthcoming āGrey Areaā album.
D-Truce serenaded a lady in particular named Chidi as he performed songs āButterflyā āSeize the baeā and āRandom afternoonā.
And just when we thought the show was over, Jamal Swiss staged a dramatic entry with a shiny crown over his head as of a king.
He sings about giving it up for a lady, which he did by walking up to a damsel in the audience and giving up the crown to her.
Some of the Ā performing acts on the night Ā - Maka, 3rty, Sess then join D-Truce and Jamal Swiss on stage dancing,Ā bidding farewell and saying thank you to those that came out to show support.
All the elements came together to make it a successful fifth edition of pushing the fine culture of youthful music forward.
