Spanish internationals Lamine Yamal and Pedro Porro trained separately from the main squad in New Jersey as they prepare for Sunday's World Cup final against Argentina. Both players underwent a lighter training regimen on the field at one of New York's training facilities during Luis de la Fuente's team's initial session. The Spanish Football Federation assured that both players are expected to be available for Sunday's match, stating that the individual training was a precautionary measure as part of their load management.

Head coach De la Fuente revealed after Spain's semi-final victory over France that Porro had sustained an injury, though it was not considered serious. Yamal's situation appears less concerning. The teenager hasn't suffered an injury, but the physical toll from his duels with Lucas Digne and Theo Hernandez was evident the following day, with the forward nursing aches and bruises from the intense match.

For the rest of the squad, the 15-minute training session, open to the media, proceeded without incident. Players appeared relaxed and optimistic despite the humid conditions and temperatures hovering around 30 degrees Celsius.
