Xbox.com has listed the release date for the Master Chief Collection version of Halo 3: ODSTÂ as May 29, 2015.
The remastered port of Halo 3: ODST will be added to the numbered Halo games as part of the Xbox One collection in both the US and UK.
Last December, 343 Industries announced that it would be giving the ODST add-on away for free to gamers who played Halo: The Master Chief Collection between launch day and December 19, 2014.
The freebie is the company's way of saying thanks to fans for their patience during MCC's bumpy start, when ongoing issues with the current gen update of the 4 numbered Halo games nearly ruined the game.
The problems included matchmaking problems that left potential players waiting up to three hours before getting a match.
According to reports the release date and game size are listed on Xbox.com as May 29 and 8.1 GB, respectively, but no other details of the game, such as whether or not those who didn't play the game during the qualifying time period will have the chance to purchase the game, or for how much, were released.
