Plant moves when touched by Humans

Popularly known as Mimosa pudica which in latin means "shy, bashful or shrinking" this plant is called the sensitive plant and sleepy plant because it automatically reacts when it is touched by Humans.

Its compound leaves fold inward and droop when touched or shaken, defending themselves from harm, and re-open a few minutes later.

The foliage also closes during darkness and reopens in light.
