The sanction relates to the player's conduct during his round of 16 match against Roman Safiullin. After being broken early in the third set, Djokovic received a warning from the chair umpire for shouting the word "bull****," along with other expletives in Serbian.

News of the fine comes as the Serb prepares for a significant challenge. Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam champion and seven-time Wimbledon winner, secured his place in the semi-finals after a battle lasting over five hours against Felix Auger-Aliassime, triumphing in the fifth-set super tie-break.

The Serbian legend's next opponent will be Jannik Sinner, in a match scheduled for Friday on Centre Court, which will determine one of the tournament's finalists.
