Super Eagles took out time from their training ahead of the upcoming 2017 African Cup of Nations qualifiers to celebrated the birthday of defender William Troost-Ekong.
The Genk centre back turned 22 on Tuesday, September 1 and got a small party arranged for him by his fellow players and staffs of the Super Eagles.
Ahead of the AFCON qualifiers against Tanzania, the Super Eagles are camped at the Bolton White Hotels and Apartments, Zone 7, Abuja where the birthday party held.
The media officer of the Super Eagles Oluwatoyin Ibitoye shared some photos of the small party.
Troos-Ekong took to his Twitter account to appreciate the gestures of his teammates.
"Thanks to everyone who took time to congratulate me today. Appreciate it!Have had a nice birthday with hard work on the pitch today!" the defender who is onloan at Club Haugesund in Norway wrote.
Troost-Ekong made his international debut for the Eagles in their 2-0 win against Chad in the African Cup of Nations qualifier in Kaduna.
