Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong marries longtime girlfriend

Super Eagles defender William Troost-Ekong on Sunday, October 17, 2021 tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend.

Troost-Ekong and his partner Bambi have been dating since 2014 and have a son together. 

On Sunday, the couple made it official at a private ceremony in London. 

The 28-year-old defender had some of his teammates present to celebrate with him. 

Kelechi Iheanacho and Wilfred Ndidi made it to London from Leicester for the ceremony, while Leon Balogun, who plays in Scotland, was also present. 

Troost-Ekong’s Watford teammate Moussa Sissoko was also present. 

The Watford defender announced his wedding on his social media page with a photo of him and his wife and another photo of their rings in hands together. 

Troost-Ekong has been public with his relationship with Bambi for a long time. 

In a 2016 interview, he admitted to being committed to her; “I really appreciate her. She is a great support for me and knows me better than anyone else,” he said. 

The couple welcomed a baby boy after the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
