Wild jubilations broke out upon the announcement of results as President Muhammadu Buhari defeats Atiku Abubakar in his own polling unit in Adamawa.

Premium times reports that the APC candidate secured 186 votes to defeat PDP's Atiku who got 167 votes.

The results from Atiku's polling unit is among the results coming in from various polling units.
Also, president Muhammadu Buhari won in his Daura, Sarkin yara ward polling unit. He secured 523 votes while Atiku got just 3 votes.
