In a decisive game, Zvezda fell easily in Madrid and will continue their competition in the play-in tournament. Their exact seeding and opponent will be determined after Friday's matches.
After the game, Crvena zvezda head coach Saša Obradović briefly addressed the media at the press conference.
"Congratulations to Real; they deserved to win this game. They were better prepared for a match of this caliber. We had too many turnovers for a contest like this. The positive aspects were our strong start to the game and parts of the third quarter, but that's simply not enough for a game of this magnitude. I'm not concerned with calculations right now. My focus is solely on wins and losses. As for the standings, we don't know anything yet, so why dwell on it?" Saša Obradović

He then spoke to Arena Sport cameras.
"This wasn't just any team. Real Madrid has been practically unbeatable at home. We got lost in the small details, the turnovers… Even some 50/50 balls, they were snatching them up. These are the tiny details that elevate a rival. We're clearly not good enough in that regard yet. We were in a poor offensive rhythm and continued to make the same mistakes. That has to change. Of course, we know it's not easy. There were some positives from the first quarter, and even the third when we made a comeback. I can't summarize anything right now; I need a bit of time." Saša Obradović
Zvezda could finish anywhere from seventh to tenth, with their final position to be confirmed after Friday's games.
