The Golden State Warriors have reportedly made three attempts to acquire superstar LeBron James over the past three years, all without success. This information comes from ESPN journalist Anthony Slater.
"This marks the Warriors' third unsuccessful attempt to land James in the last three years, with the previous two involving potential trades. The club's decisions following each endeavor yielded similar outcomes," Slater reported.
Golden State has long considered the possibility of uniting James with Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, but they have consistently failed to persuade the forward to join their roster.
According to ESPN sources, the organization believes that James' extensive history of rivalry with the club in the NBA Finals may have played a significant role in his reluctance to join the Warriors.
