Super Eagles goalkeeper speaks on late mum’s funeral

Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama as spoken about the successful funeral of his late mum, late mum Mrs. Lucy Philip Enyeama.

Enyeama’s mum died in September and was finally laid to rest on Saturday, October 3 in Urua Inyang, Akwa Ibom State.

The burial rites of late Mrs Lucy Enyeama began on Friday with a Night of Songs at the Christ.

The King Church (CKC), Barracks Road, Uyo and continued on Saturday with the burial mass and interment.

After the funeral, Enyeama took to his Instagram to thanks all those who mourned with him and attended the funeral.

He thanks the special guest that honored his with their presence at the funeral.

“I want to say thank you to our state governor His Excellency who took out time from his busy schedule to come and be with me and my family,” Enyeama wrote on Instagram.

“The deputy Governor who stayed with us till the end of everything.

“The secretary to the state government, the commissioners, the permanent secretaries, the directors.”

“The president and members of the the president and the team of football club that was represented, my teammates(past and present),the supporters clubs of the Nigerian national team and the football club.”
