Vincent Enyeama has joined up with his family in France after leaving the Super Eagles camp in Belgium and announcing his retirement from the national team.
Following a clash with Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh at the Hotel Verviers in Belgium, Enyeama stormed out of the camp and announce his retirement from the national team.
In his latest Instagram post, Enyeama shares a photo of himself and his wife, Promise engaging in light exercise.
The Lille goalkeeper in a statement which he wrote alongside the photo, reveal that his wife, 'got him in his moment of grieve'.
"Training time with wifey," he wrote.
"He that findeth a wife findeth a good thing and obtains favour from God. My. she got me in my moment of grieve.
Mixed reactions have trailed his Enyeama's resignation from the national team, but his wife, Promise is 100% behind his decision.
Just a few hours after Enyeama announced his resignation, Promise took to her Instagram account to send her support to her hubby.
"Yes! You did well! Hold your head up high my love! I'm so proud of you and your dedicated service to your fatherland for 13 good years," Promise wrote on Insatagram.
"I have witnessed your passion and commitment firsthand. You spent sleepless nights just to analyze every goal you conceded, even if there was nothing you could do to save them.
"You played through injuries, pains and fatigue. You took the bullets of unjust criticisms, biased and false reporting/information, just to let peace reign.
Enyeama and his wife, Promise have been married 15 years and are blessed with three children.
