Victor Moses and Mame Biram Diouf were both on target as Stoke City made it three Premier League victories in a row with the home victory.
Moses struck in the first half when he out-jumped Phil Jagielka and John Stones to head past Tim Howard, with substitute Diouf wrapping up the points when he netted with seven minutes to go.
Stoke City manager Mark Hughes also confirmed his club's interest in signing Victor Moses on a permanent deal after an impressive loan spell at the Britannia Stadium.
Moses has turned out 12 times for the Potters this season since moving from London on a year-long deal in August.
