Moses and Chelsea teammate John Mikel Obi were left out in Oliseh's 18-man foreign based players released on Monday, August  17.

It was a surprise particularly for Moses following his meeting with Oliseh in London some weeks ago.

The forward however revealed that a 'small injury' was the reason why he was left out of the squad.

“Thanks for all of your support and concern. I am having treatment on a small injury but hopefully will be back very soon,” Moses tweeted.
