Verstappen's Team Loses Driver for Misano Race

Max Verstappen's GT World Challenge Europe team, Verstappen.com, will be without one of its regular drivers for this weekend's two sprint races at Italy's Misano circuit.

British driver Chris Lulham will be replaced by Jules Gounon. Daniel Juncadella will remain as the other primary driver.

“I had my appendix removed, so I won't be racing this weekend. Good luck to Jules Gounon, who will be replacing me,” Lulham posted on social media, with the team also confirming the news.

Juncadella and Gounon will compete in the #3 Winward car, which Bulgarian driver Nikola Tsolov tested at last weekend's Goodwood Festival of Speed. Lulham himself also performed a demonstration run at Goodwood in a Mercedes-AMG GT3 car.
