Marcus Rashford bid farewell to Barcelona this Thursday, a club where he rediscovered his form after several disappointing seasons for one of English football's most talented players.
At 28 years old and with his future still uncertain, the Englishman made 49 appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing 12 assists, contributing to the team's La Liga title and Spanish Super Cup triumph.
“I am incredibly grateful to everyone at the club for making my time here such a positive and memorable experience. I’ve enjoyed every moment and will carry so many special memories with me,” he wrote on social media, also extending his best wishes for the future.
“I wish the club and all its fans the very best of luck and every success for the upcoming season,” he added.
The big question now is whether the winger will return to Manchester United, where he is under contract until 2028 and is one of the squad's highest earners, or if he will once again find himself away from Old Trafford. Last season, he was loaned to Aston Villa after not featuring in Ruben Amorim's plans.
