UFC fighter Jaqueline Amorim has been handed a six-month suspension following a violation of the promotion's anti-doping policy.
Combat Sports Anti-Doping (CSAD) announced on Friday that Amorim accepted the six-month sanction after testing positive for trace amounts of ostarine. The substance is classified as an anabolic agent and is strictly prohibited. Ostarine was detected in out-of-competition urine samples collected on July 29, 2026, and August 17, 2026, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with both instances consolidated into a single violation.
CSAD stated that Amorim fully cooperated throughout the investigation. Experts concluded that the adverse analytical findings were the result of low-level contamination rather than intentional ingestion. The agency further noted that the trace contamination offered the fighter "no meaningful athletic performance advantage."
The Brazilian's suspension has been backdated to August 17, the date she was formally notified of the positive test and provisionally suspended. Her period of ineligibility will conclude on February 17, 2027.
Amorim most recently competed inside the Octagon at UFC Macau on May 30, where she earned a first-round armbar submission victory over Loma Lookboonmee.
