Boxer takes aim at Anthony Joshua with Twitter photo
The back and forth between
Fury posted what appears to be a doctored image of Joshua on Twitter, wearing a T-shirt with a picture of the Manchester fighter following his win against Wladimir Klitschko.
“Who I think myself a cheerleader, she is always right there when I need her,” the 27-year-old captioned the photo, misquoting the lyrics to the 2012 hit-song 'Cheerleader' by OMI.
Fury is not happy with the decision of Joshua to defend his IBF belt against American boxer, Dominic Breazeale.
“Let's not give @anthonyfjoshua a hard time over his opponent, just remember he as only had 16 fights, &still Learning,” he once tweeted.
Olympic champion Joshua won the title in only his 16th professional fight this month when he stopped American Charles Martin in the second round of their fight also at the O2.
According to his promoter, Eddie Hearn, an America opponent in the form of Molina was necessary because US interest in Joshua has grown.
“There is huge interest in him in the US so we are looking stateside for an opponent,” Hearn said.
Joshua's first defence of his IBF world heavyweight title will be against Breazeale who is unbeaten on June 25 at London's O2 Arena, the Briton's camp said on Monday.
