Six teams competed for the top honors in the fifth edition of the a-day tournament that has grown in brand and popularity among youths in Lagos.
The two finalists, two time champions, Red Devils, The Knights, The Cubs, The Guns were the team that participated in the TPL5.
The TPL is a football tournament that seeks to tap into the football loving passion Nigerians show on social media.
The inaugural TPL edition held on May 29 (Democracy Day) at Meadow Hall, Ikate Lekki.
The aim is to identify the fans who can back up their online football passion with talent.
The official slogan of the TPL is 'Don’t Just Tweet Football, Play Football'.
