Company improves road safety by installing high-tech driving simulators
Total Nigeria has installed high-tech driving simulators, in order to boost road safety.
The Guardian reports that there were two simulators.
"The simulators are to serve as active training tools that will be used to prepare drivers for the management of unpredictable hazards that may occur when driving, such as collision avoidance."
In order to further boost road safety, the company's Truck Drivers Training School and Inspection Centre was rehabilitated.
Ajibola Abdulwaheed Alaga, Management System for Transport Coordinator, commented on this.
“It has been given several facelifts with modern facilities to effectively educate drivers, enhance and improve driver safety, knowledge and driving methods."
The two simulators were installed in Toyota's Truck Drivers Training School and Inspection Centre in Ibadan and Lagos.
