Toronto to Host UFC Event After Three-Year Hiatus

The UFC’s first numbered event of 2027 will take place on Canadian soil. On January 30, Toronto will host UFC 336 at Scotiabank Arena, marking the premier MMA promotion's return to the city after a three-year hiatus.

The date and host city were revealed during the live broadcast of the UFC event in Edmonton, which featured a record-setting 12 Canadian fighters.

A welterweight title clash between champion Islam Makhachev (29-1 MMA, 18-1 UFC) and Carlos Prates (24-7 MMA, 7-1 UFC) is being targeted as a potential headliner, though the organization has yet to officially confirm any matchups for the card.
