Whoopi Goldberg Says A Man Has The Right To Slap A Woman Who Slapped Him First

American Actress Whoopi Goldberg, recently dropped a bombshell on everyone regarding the elevator fight between Jay-z and Solange Knowles.

While co-hosting 'The View', a TV show in America, the actress revealed that while many people might praise Jay0z for his cool and tolerant reaction the whole incident, she wouldn't have seen anything wrong if he had slapped her back. According to her, she said 'I think Solange was quite ready for him to do whatever he was going to do,. This is the thing: If If anybody hits you, you have the right- I know that many people are raised differently, but if a woman hits you, to me, you have the right to hit her back.

This must have really shocked one of her co-hosts Barbara Walters, who further asked if it was OK for a man to hit a woman. Goldberg replied her by saying, 'If i slap a man, he has every right to slap me back.'

Coming from a woman, and American woman, this is quite shocking as it goes against the popular belief that a man should never hit a woman no matter what she does. Which includes slapping of course. Share your thoughts though.
