Wodds’ value however dropped with $6m from his brand value in 2004 but still beat fellow golfer Phil Mickelson to second place.

The five-time Major Champion has a brand value of $28 million while NBA Star LeBron James is third with a brand value of $27m.

Tie with James on third is tennis star, Rodger Federer who his extended deal with Mercedes-Benz deal at the end of 2014 to thank for.
