Kano Pillars Win Third Consecutive League Title

Kano Pillars secured the title on the penultimate week of the 2014 league season as they defeated Nembe City 4-0

Enyimba which was as close to denying the Pyramid club from the title gave away the opportunity as they failed to beat Dolphins FC in Port Harcourt; a victory would have ensured that the two teams fought it out till the last game of the season

Pillars now sit 4 points clear on the top of the log withy 65 points, leaving Enyimba second with 61.

A win on the last day of the league will only secure a CAF Champions League slot for the Aba Elephants

The third place position remains to be contested by Warri Wolves, Abia Warriors and Nassarawa United; any of the teams that come third will represent Nigeria in the 2015 CAF Confederations Cup
