On Tuesday, August 29, seven Super Eagles players, Victor Moses, John Ogu, first timer Anthony Nwakaeme, Moses Simon, Leon Balogun, Uche Agbo and Aaron Samuel arrived Uyo via an Air Peace flight.

Moses, Ogu and Nwakaeme arrived in Lagos on Monday night and joined the only available flight to Uyo alongside the four others.

They arrived the Akwa Ibom International Airport in Uyo at 1 pm and were received by the Media Officer of the Super Eagles, Toyin Ibitoye.

The players were driven straight to the Super Eagles base at the Le Meridien Hotel in Uyo.

They will have a little rest before joining the other 16 players who had arrived camp earlier in an open-door training session at the Godswill AkpabioInternational Stadium.

Daniel Akpeyi, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Dele Alampasu Ola Aina, Mikel Obi,Mikel AguAhmedMusa, OgenyiOnazi, Odion Ighalo, Tyronne Ebuehi, Oghenekaro Etebo, Elderson Echiéjilé, Chidozie Awaziem, Kelechi Iheanacho, William Troost-Ekong, Wilfred Ndidi are the other available players in camp.

After the first leg in Uyo, the Super Eagles will travel to Yaoundé, Cameroon for the second leg which will be played on Monday, September 4.

The Super Eagles currently sit top of Group B with six points after victories over Zambia and Algeria. Cameroon are second with two points while Zambia and Algeria are bottom.
