Osimhen revealed this through a post on his official social media page on Tuesday afternoon.
"I will be available for AFCON 100%," Osimhen's post on Twitter read. "Unless if i am not among the players picked to represent Nigeria," the former youth international added.
The 22-year-old has not played competitive football since he went under the knife late last month following a head collision with Inter Milan's Milan Skriniar at San Siro.

However, his latest comments will be a huge boost to the interim coach, Austin Eguavoen, who has since replaced former coach, Gernot Rohr whose contract was terminated in December.
"Thankful to God Almighty, i sincerely appreciate those who reached out to me, God bless you and yours. No time to dwell on past transgressions, looking forward to the greater things ahead💯God Is The Greatest🙌🏽We Move @officialsscnapoli," he posted after his return to training early December for the first time since the surgery.
Osimhen was spotted back in training with his club, Napoli, on Tuesday, wearing a special face mask.
He scored five goals in 11 appearances in the Serie A before his injury but has not featured for the Naples side since that 3-2 defeat to Inter on November 21.
