The Super Eagles of Nigeria will on Saturday, October 7 face Zambia in the penultimate game of the World Cup qualifier at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.

A message on the cartoon of the wine reads: “We thank the President and all Nigerians for supporting our teams and particularly the governor of Akwa Ibom State and the people of other states.”

The NFF have not confirmed planning any party or their involvement in the making of the champagne photos.

A source has however revealed that the NFF are indeed planning a party according to Complete Sports.

“We plan to win and celebrate our victory which I think is ideal for every team and their administrators,” the source close to the NFF said according to the report.

Rumour also has it that the NFF are not involved in the champagne bottles, rather some independent party promoters using the Super Eagles to sell their party.

It is expected that the atmosphere at the Le Méridien Hotel in Uyo will be lively if the Super Eagles beat Zambia to secure a World Cup ticket.

The Super Eagles of Nigeria are top of Group B with 10 points while Zambia are second with seven.

Any point for the Zambians means the Super Eagles will have to wait until the final game to ensure qualification.
